Meet the Press host Chuck Todd is leaving the show after a decade at its helm.
Chuck Todd has announced that he will be leaving his post as host of NBC’s Meet the Press in April 2021. The news comes just months after the conclusion of his 10th year as host of the long-running political program, which airs on NBC and is one of the most-watched Sunday morning political talk shows in America.
Todd began hosting Meet the Press in December 2020, following a successful stint as Chief White House Correspondent for NBC News. He took over for David Gregory, who had held down the job since 2008. Prior to taking over Meet the Press, Todd had also served as Political Director for NBC News and was an anchor on MSNBC’s Daily Rundown.
