NBC’s Chuck Todd is leaving his role as host of Meet the Press, NBC News announced on September 3.

Chuck Todd has announced he is leaving NBC News after 12 years. The journalist and political commentator will remain at NBC until early 2020 to help with the transition of his replacement, and will continue to appear on MSNBC’s Meet the Press, which he hosts. His last day at NBC News will be in January 2021.
