Who is Imran Khan?

Imran Khan is the leader of the political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), which translates to “Movement for Justice”. The party has been involved in politics since 1996, but only made it into power following elections held in July 2018. A video was released showing Imran being taken into custody by officers from London’s Metropolitan Police Service (MPS).

The arrest took place at an address in London on November 7th after police were called over allegations that two women had been murdered by their husbands or partners over honor killings.
