A British coroner has said that a lead-lined coffin was used to prevent the spread of radiation in a case involving the death of a nuclear scientist. The body of David Kelly, who worked at the Atomic Weapons Establishment in Aldermaston, was found dead in woods near his home in 2003. Dr Kelly’s family were told that he had committed suicide.
