Beatrice left the funeral of her uncle Prince Andrew in protest over his treatment of her mother.

Princess Beatrice has left the funeral of her uncle, Prince Andrew, in protest at how he treated her mother. The Princess was spotted leaving St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle during the service on October 20th. Her father, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and brother, Prince Edward were also seen leaving early.

The Royal Family’s relationship with Beatrice’s mother Sarah Ferguson has been strained for years. It all started when Sarah published a book about being a royal in 2008 titled “Duchess Dishes”. She was heavily criticised for speaking about private family matters and many accused her of cashing in on her Royal connections to make money. In 2010, Sarah lost a legal battle with the Queen over photographs taken at Balmoral Castle that she had tried to sell to a newspaper.

It is not yet known what Beatrice did to cause such an uproar during the service or if she will face any disciplinary action from Buckingham Palace for leaving before it had finished.
