The hosts of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 have been confirmed as former winners Johnny Logan and Dannii Minogue.

Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will be hosted by Australia, with former winners Johnny Logan and Dannii Minogue set to present the event. Logan, who won the contest in 1980 with “What’s Another Year”, has also represented Ireland in two other contests, while Minogue is a three-time winner who took home the trophy in 1997 with “Come Back”.

Logan has previously served as a commentator for the contest on both radio and television. In addition to his hosting duties, he is expected to perform at Eurovision 2023.

Who are Johnny Logan and Dannii Minogue?

Johnny Logan is an Irish singer-songwriter, who has won the Eurovision Song Contest twice. He first won in 1980 with “What’s Another Year” for Ireland. He then went on to represent Ireland again at Eurovision 1991 with “Why Me?” where he finished second behind Linda Martin from Scotland. Logan has also released ten studio albums since 1978 and is currently performing across Europe.

Minogue rose to fame as a member of Australian pop group ‘Neighbours’ before embarking on her solo career. She began her music career in 1987 after being signed by Mushroom Records and releasing her debut single ‘The Loco-Motion’. She went on to release several more singles before she signed with Parlophone Records in 1991 and released her debut album ‘Love & Kisses’. Since then she has released 12 studio albums and embarked on several world tours including two stints as a judge on The X Factor Australia.
