Why did Ty leave Heartland?

The decision to leave Heartland came after Ty realized that he wanted to pursue other projects. He made the announcement on Facebook Live in a video titled “Thank You & Goodbye” in which he thanked everyone who had supported him over the years and thanked his crew for their hard work. He also revealed that he had begun working on a new project with Netflix called “American Builders”, which will feature people from all walks of life and all different skill levels coming together to help rebuild communities.
