Whoopi Goldberg had a very public spat with fellow co-host Joy Behar, but it seems the two have made up.
On Monday, October 22nd, Whoopi Goldberg hosted the show for the first time since she and Joy Behar had a very public spat. The two hosts had been going back and forth on social media for weeks over differing opinions on how to deal with Donald Trump’s presidency. The feud between the two co-hosts came to a head when Whoopi accused Joy of “carrying water” for Trump by not supporting his impeachment. When the two hosts appeared together on air after their Twitter feud, it was clear that there was still tension between them. However, this week both women seemed much more relaxed in each other’s company.
On Monday morning’s episode of The View, Joy joked about her and Whoopi’s feud while introducing some new segments on the show. “You know what? I just want to say something real quick before we get started because I know there are people out there who are concerned about our relationship and I want you to know that we are fine,” she said. “We really are fine.” She then went on to introduce some new segments including “Which One Are You?” where they would ask viewers which one of them they were more like.
