Why are Stanley cups so popular Why do we have Leap Year

There will be no Premier League in 2021.

The 2022 Premier League season has been cancelled due to the government’s decision to cut the league’s funding. The news was announced on October 26th, 2021, and means that there will be no more English top flight football for at least two years. This is the first time since 1888 that there has been no Premier League.

Why is there no Premier League?

The government announced on October 26th that it would be cutting its funding for the 2022-2023 season of the Premier League. The league had previously received £10 million a year from the government, but it was decided that this money would now go towards other projects.

How much did the government pay towards football?

The Football Association (FA) has received around £60 million from Sport England since 2012. However, Sport England gave its remaining £40 million to grassroots sports instead of the FA in early 2021. In addition to this, in 2020-2021 season, each club received around £4 million from their local council through Sport England’s “Sporting Club” initiative.
