Liverpool’s home game against Manchester City has been postponed after the roof of Anfield Stadium collapsed. The Premier League fixture was due to kick off at 3pm on Sunday October 27th, but was called off following the collapse of a huge section of the stadium’s roof.

A statement from Liverpool FC said: “Following today’s incident at Anfield, we can confirm that tonight’s game against Manchester City has been called off. Details of a replacement date will be announced as soon as possible. Fans are advised to keep checking our website for further updates.
