In an interview with Elle Magazine in 2018, Jada revealed that her son Jaden had told her to shave her head. He said that he didn’t like his mother’s hair and wanted to see what she looked like without it. Jada also said that she was diagnosed with Lupus at the time and decided to shave her head as a way of embracing herself. Since then, the star has embraced her baldness by shaving off all of the hair on both sides of her head.
