On January 1st, 2018, Will Smith and Chris Rock were both guests at a party hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith. The pair were seen laughing and joking together on the red carpet before heading inside to enjoy the festivities. It wasn’t long before the two stars began roasting each other, with Will telling Chris he looked like he had “seen a ghost” and Chris telling Will that he looked like he had “been working out.” Things soon escalated when Will made fun of Chris for being “too small to be a cop.” The two friends then began fighting, with Chris getting smacked in the face by Will.
It was later revealed that there was no real animosity between Will and Chris. They are still close friends today, despite their recent fight.
