Why did Jess leave FBI Most Wanted

Jess is the lead FBI agent on the case of two missing children.

The FBI Most Wanted TV show is currently airing its second season, but there’s a good chance you haven’t heard of it. The show follows the story of Jess, a special agent who is tasked with finding two missing children. The first season aired in 2017 and focused on her investigation into a serial killer. It was canceled after one season, but a second season was commissioned and released in June 2019. It follows Jess as she attempts to track down missing siblings Lexi and Max, who were taken from their home by their mother and have not been seen since.

The series stars Sarah Shahi as Jess Parrish, whose character is loosely based on real-life special agent Jessica Cooley. Cooley was involved in the real-life case that inspired the show and also worked alongside Shahi to help develop her character for the screen.
