The Ellen Show is not just an American talk show, but also a Netflix Original Series.
It’s been a big year for Ellen DeGeneres. In February, she received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Donald Trump. She then became the first person to host the Academy Awards and the Grammy Awards in the same year. In September, she became the first woman to host a daytime talk show in 15 years when The Ellen Show premiered on Netflix. Now, she has become the first person to simultaneously host two live TV shows at once when her second show began airing on CBS this week.
Ellen has been on television for more than 20 years and had her own show from 2003 until 2014. She was then replaced by fellow comedian Chelsea Handler and moved to Netflix as part of their deal with Warner Bros., which produces her series.
