Actor Andre Braugher has died, aged 57. The star of TV series Homicide: Life on the Street and Brooklyn Nine-Nine was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on October 27th. His death is being treated as a suicide.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed that the actor’s cause of death was suicide by hanging. Braugher had previously been open about his struggle with depression and alcoholism.
