The second season of Netflix’s “Why Women Kill” series is set to be released on October 30th.
Netflix has announced that the second season of its true crime documentary series Why Women Kill will be released on October 30th. The show was first released in May 2019 and was praised for its thorough approach to the topic of female killers. Season 2 will continue this focus, examining how women can be driven to kill and what happens when they do. The new season will also include interviews with some of the women who have been convicted of murder, as well as those who have survived attacks.
Why Women Kill was created by Emmy-nominated producer Erin Lee Carr (of Showtime’s docuseries Dirty John) and tells the stories of a number of female killers, including Karla Homolka, Jodi Arias, and Mary Ann Cotton. Each episode focuses on a different woman who has killed someone close to them, looking at their backgrounds and motivations before diving into their crimes.
