A recent Netflix documentary looks at the women who killed Cast.
The recently released Netflix documentary series Cast, directed by BAFTA winner Sam Klemke, explores the phenomenon of women killing their husbands. The four-part series, which launched on October 22nd, looks at several real-life cases of women who killed their spouses. The first episode of the series focuses on a group of female inmates who killed their husbands in self-defence. These inmates were all sentenced to life in prison for murder but were later released after being found guilty of manslaughter instead.
The second episode follows five women from around the world who murdered their husbands or partners. It was revealed that these women had been subjected to years of abuse and mistreatment before they decided to take matters into their own hands and kill their abusers.
