Aaron Judge is benched today after leaving the game early yesterday.

New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge was benched for Wednesday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays. The decision came after Judge left Tuesday’s game early with a right wrist injury. While it is unclear exactly what type of injury Judge sustained, it is unlikely to be serious enough to keep him out of action for long. The 24-year-old outfielder is hitting .265 with 17 home runs and 44 RBIs this season.

Judge, who has played in all but one of the Yankees’ games this season, left Tuesday’s contest in the fifth inning after taking a foul ball off his right wrist. He was replaced by Clint Frazier in center field and will likely sit out Wednesday’s game as well.
