50 Cent was one of the first artists to embrace bitcoin.

Rapper 50 Cent has been making headlines for his bitcoin investments, but it seems that the G-Unit leader is still a little confused about how cryptocurrency works. In an interview with “The Breakfast Club” on Power 105.1, 50 Cent revealed that he has not yet received any of his bitcoin profits from a 2014 investment in the cryptocurrency. He told Charlamagne tha God and Angela Yee that he invested in bitcoin back when it was worth $662 per coin, which would have made him $7 million if he had cashed out then.

While 50 Cent’s net worth is estimated at $155 million by Celebrity Net Worth, it seems like the rapper might have trouble keeping track of his finances. The rapper also shared that he forgot about an additional 200 bitcoins from another investment, which would be worth around $1.7 million today.

Why was 50 upside down?

The rapper’s name is actually Curtis Jackson III, but fans and critics alike know him as “50.” This led to some confusion when people saw his name upside down on Twitter, with many thinking it was an account impersonating the musician. The confusion came after 50 Cent’s account tweeted a photo of a naked woman and some explicit language along with a caption reading “I get in free everywhere I go LOL #EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO”
