Kim Mi Soo, the actress who played Choi Young Ran in “Mirror of the Witch”, died on September 28th, 2021.
The Korean actress Kim Mi Soo passed away on September 28th, 2021. She was 41 years old. The actress’s agency stated that she had suffered from depression and committed suicide by jumping off a building in Seoul. Kim Mi Soo is best known for her role as Choi Young Ran in the 2016 drama “Mirror of the Witch”. She had also appeared in other Korean dramas such as “My Love Eun Dong” and “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon”.
Kim Mi Soo was born on August 25th, 1980. She made her acting debut in 1999 with a small role in MBC’s drama “Jang Hyuk’s Family”. Since then, she has appeared in many other dramas including KBS2’s “The King and I” (2016), SBS’ “Drinking Solo” (2016), tvN’s “Hwayugi” (2017) and JTBC’s drama special “Children of Nobody” (2018). Her last work before her death was JTBC’s drama special “Children of Nobody” which aired from May 24 to June 15.
