The second season of Netflix’s original series Kill la Kill will be released on November 9th, 2021.
Kill la Kill is a Japanese anime series created by Trigger and aired on the Tokyo-based TV station MBS from October 3rd, 2013 to March 27th, 2014. The series was produced by Hiroyuki Imaishi and written by Kazuki Nakashima. It follows the life of Ryuko Matoi as she searches for her father’s killer. In order to do so, she must face Satsuki Kiryuin, the iron-fisted student council president of Honnouji Academy.
Season 2 of Kill la Kill will be released on Netflix on November 9th, 2021. It is expected to be 26 episodes long and continue where season 1 left off. Season 1 was a hit with fans and critics alike when it aired in Japan in 2013 and 2014. The first season was released in North America on April 4th, 2015 with an English dub available at that time as well as an English subbed version.
The second season has been teased since 2017 when Trigger announced that they were working on new projects for the franchise but didn’t specify what they were.
