UFC Fight Night 151: Dos Santos vs. Ivanov was the first UFC event of 2022, taking place in Abu Dhabi.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has confirmed that UFC Fight Night 151 will take place on Saturday, January 26th at the du Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is the first UFC event of 2022 and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between former champion Junior dos Santos and Alexander Ivanov.

What is the UFC?

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is a mixed martial arts promotion company that hosts live events around the world. Founded in 1993 by Art Davie and Rorion Gracie, it was acquired by Zuffa LLC in 2001 for $2 million. The company has since gone on to become one of the largest MMA promotions companies in the world, hosting over 400 events per year.
