Shaun White has been accused of sexual misconduct by a former drummer in his band.

Shaun White is one of the most famous snowboarders in the world, but his recent appearance at the Winter Olympics has been overshadowed by controversy. The snowboarder won gold medals in the halfpipe at both the 2006 and 2018 Winter Olympics, and he was expected to take home another medal this year. However, his performance during the men’s halfpipe final left many disappointed, with Shaun finishing fourth behind American teammate Red Gerard. His performance may have been less than stellar, but it was overshadowed by a sexual misconduct scandal that had begun brewing before Shaun even arrived in South Korea.

A former drummer for Shaun’s band Bad Things claimed that she had been sexually harassed by him while they were working together. Lena Zawaideh alleged that she was subjected to repeated inappropriate behavior from Shaun during their time together. She also said that he had texted her after they broke up and sent her unsolicited nude photos of himself.

The allegations against Shaun were first made public on August 10th when Lena filed a lawsuit against him for sexual harassment and breach of contract. The lawsuit claims that he created a “hostile work environment” through his actions and then failed to pay her what she was owed when Bad Things broke up.
