Saudi Arabia is a Middle Eastern country with borders on Iraq and Jordan to the north and Oman and Yemen to the south. It has coastlines on both the Persian Gulf and Red Sea. The country has been ruled by King Salman since 2015, after his predecessor King Abdullah died at age 90. King Salman took over as king following his brother’s death.
