The Nasdaq Composite index fell more than 2% in early trading on October 28th, after markets opened for the first time since the UK voted to leave the European Union. The tech-heavy index fell by more than 140 points, a fall of 2.2%, before recovering slightly to be down 1.6% at 9:15am BST.

The Nasdaq was one of the worst hit of all major US indexes, but it wasn’t alone in falling. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 also fell by 1.5% and 1.7% respectively.
