Kelly Ripa is spending the week in Michigan to promote her new film, The Last Cruise.
After a week of speculation, Kelly Ripa has finally revealed why she was absent from her talk show Live! on Monday. The co-host was a no-show on the morning program after a report surfaced that she had been dropped from the show. However, it was later revealed that Ripa was simply taking some time off to promote her new film, The Last Cruise. Ripa posted a video to Instagram on Tuesday night explaining why she wasn’t at work. She said that she had an important obligation to fulfill in Michigan and would be back for the rest of the week.
The Last Cruise is based on an article written by David Sipress and stars Ripa as Ruthie, a cruise ship singer who finds herself stranded in Alaska with other passengers after their ship becomes trapped in ice.
