The lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court alleges that Depp, his sister Christi Dembrowski and their company, Infinitum Nihil, ignored warnings about his financial planning.
“Depp and Dembrowski were aggressively spending far beyond their means,” it said. “They were living like royalty.”
The lawsuit by The Management Group seeks compensation for unpaid fees plus damages. It said it warned Depp in January that his financial situation was “dire” and he needed to sell off some $40 million in real estate to avoid bankruptcy. Instead, it said he fired TMG.
