Constance Marten is a fugitive who fled to France after her involvement in the assassination of former PM Boris Johnson.

On October 24th, 2021, Constance Marten was charged with conspiracy to murder former Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The charges came after Constance had fled the country to France in September 2021. Marten was one of the first people to be arrested in connection with the conspiracy that led to Johnson’s death, but she wasn’t the last. The charges come just days before a trial for three other defendants charged with conspiracy and murder for their roles in Boris’ death.

Who is Constance Marten?

Constance Marten is a political activist who has been involved in anti-Boris protests since he was elected Prime Minister. She was one of those arrested on suspicion of conspiring to kill him, along with her husband and son. Her husband James Martin and son Miles Martin were both sentenced to life imprisonment for their roles in Boris’ death.
