The multiplayer PC gaming service has been suffering from slow download speeds and connectivity issues since July 2021.

Battlenet, the online gaming service owned by Activision Blizzard, has been suffering from slow download speeds and connectivity issues since July 2021. The problems first began on July 17th, when users reported problems connecting to the service. The company released a statement saying that they were working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. However, users continued to report problems over the following days and weeks. Some gamers were even unable to log into their accounts at all.

On August 1st, Battlenet released a new statement explaining that they had discovered an issue with one of their servers. The server was taken offline while they worked on a fix, which took longer than expected due to an “unforeseen bug” in the system.

Why is Battlenet so slow?

Battlenet is used by millions of people across the world for multiplayer games like Overwatch and World of Warcraft. It’s a subscription-based service that allows players to connect with each other over long distances via their computers or mobile devices. It’s similar in function to services like Steam or Xbox Live.
