The video game Free Fire has been banned in India for being too violent. The ban came into effect on October 27th, just a day after the game’s release. The ban applies to all versions of the game and is expected to last for two weeks. However, gamers who already own the title are allowed to continue playing it.

Free Fire is a first-person shooter video game developed by British indie studio The Game Bakers and published by the American company Electronic Arts (EA). It was released on Steam on October 26th, but not long after its release, people started complaining about its excessive violence. After receiving numerous complaints from gamers in India and several other countries across the world, Indian authorities decided to temporarily ban the game.
