Will slapped Chris after he called him a “cuck” in front of thousands of people.
On September 26th, 2019, Will Smith slapped Chris Hardwick in the face after the Silicon Valley star called him a “cuck” at the San Diego Comic-Con. The word “cuck” is an alt-right term for a man who lets his wife have sex with other men. It’s used as an insult against men who are not masculine enough to protect their wives from other men.
Smith was promoting his new movie Bright 2: The City of Angels when he was asked about the controversy surrounding his old friend and colleague Hardwick. Earlier this year, Hardwick was accused by ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra of sexual assault and emotional abuse during their relationship. He has denied all allegations against him.
Smith was quick to defend his friend and told Hardwick that he should be ashamed of himself for calling him a cuck on stage in front of thousands of people. “I just want to say that I don’t get up here to do these panels every day so when I see somebody like you disrespecting my brother and calling him a cuck, it makes me angry! So you can either shut up or get off stage!”
