BTS member V, also known as Kim Tae-Hyung, has spoken out about the death of bandmate and fellow member Jung Ho-Seok, better known as “J-Hope”. The K-Pop star took to Twitter on October 28th to reveal that J-Hope had killed himself in March 2021 after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. He also revealed that the entire BTS band had been aware of his illness but had kept it from their fans in order to avoid panic and distress.
Taehyung is best known for being a member of BTS, an internationally successful K-Pop boyband formed in 2013. The group consists of seven members: RM (Kim Namjoon), Suga (Min Yoongi), J-Hope (Jung Ho Seok), Jimin Park, V (Kim Tae Hyung), Jin (Kim Seok Jin) and Jungkook Jeon. All seven members were born between 1994 and 1997.
J Hope was found dead at his home on March 26th 2021 by the other members of BTS. He was only 27 years old at the time.
