Shane Keith Warne is a former Australian cricketer who played for Australia from 1992 to 2007. He also played for Hampshire County Cricket Club between 2005 and 2007. A right-arm leg spin bowler with an unorthodox bowling action, he was named one of Wisden’s five Cricketers of the Century in 2000.

What happened to Shane Warne?

Warne had been suffering from multiple health problems since 2016. In January 2019 he underwent surgery for a blocked artery that caused him to miss out on commentary duties during the Ashes series against England later that year.
