Why did Nepal Plane Crash

The plane crashed into a mountainside just minutes after taking off from Kathmandu.

A plane carrying 71 people has crashed in Nepal, killing all those on board. The flight was operated by Bangladeshi airline US-Bangla and was headed to the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu. The aircraft, a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 turboprop, took off from the Tribhuvan International Airport at 2:20 pm local time on Monday and lost contact with air traffic control five minutes later. The aircraft then crashed into a mountainside just minutes after taking off from Kathmandu.

The cause of the crash is not yet known but officials say that visibility was poor at the time of take-off due to cloud cover. The airport is situated in a mountainous region and surrounded by high peaks.
