In Netflix’s new satirical documentary Death to 2021, actor Chris Kattan discusses his firing from Big Brother. In the film, he explains that he was let go from the reality show after showing up to work drunk. He also says that he had been working on an American version of the show at the time and had been drinking a lot in order to prepare for it.
Kattan describes how he went into work for a live feed and noticed that there were cameras everywhere. However, when it came time for him to start filming, he couldn’t remember his lines and ended up forgetting everything about what was going on around him. He eventually realized that everyone else in the room was staring at him because they were all trying not to laugh. It turned out that someone had put alcohol in his water bottle without telling him.
