Pop star Adele was forced to cancel a concert in Birmingham, England, on May 30th 2021 after falling ill. The “Hello” singer was scheduled to perform at the Genting Arena but ended up being rushed to the hospital. Adele’s representative said that she had “taken ill overnight and is unable to perform tonight.”
Adele’s manager later released a statement saying that the singer had been diagnosed with pneumonia and had been advised by doctors not to perform.
Adele has yet to release any further statements about her illness or when she will be able to return to performing. She did however take time out of her schedule earlier this year in order to give birth.
