Adele’s 25 Tour was the highest-grossing tour of all time, bringing in $523.7 million in ticket sales. The tour lasted from 2015 to 2017 and saw Adele perform over 150 shows in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. However, the singer announced that she would be canceling her final two performances due to vocal issues.
What happened to Adele?
In a statement released on October 24th, Adele said that she had “tried everything” to sing at her scheduled performances in Melbourne and Sydney but that she “can’t risk further damage to my voice.” She added that her doctors have told her not to perform for a month, which means she won’t be able to finish out the final two dates of her tour.
