The coronavirus is considered as a pandemic, but it’s not.
The coronavirus is a disease that has infected more than 2,000 people since its emergence in June 2019. The virus has been dubbed Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) by the World Health Organization (WHO), and the WHO has declared it a pandemic. However, the term “pandemic” does not apply to this virus. It’s important to note that when the WHO calls something a pandemic, they are referring to how quickly the disease spreads between humans and how many people it infects.
Coronaviruses are usually found in animals, particularly bats. The virus can also be found in camels and goats, which means they can spread to humans through contact with these animals or their milk or meat products. Some types of coronaviruses are known to cause cold-like symptoms in humans, but there is no evidence that MERS is one of them.
