Who is Michael Carhart?
Michael Carhart is a journalist and writer who has published over 50 books since 2005. He has written extensively about politics and social issues in the United States and abroad, but his coverage of the 2016 presidential election was met with criticism from both sides of the aisle. Although Carhart supported Bernie Sanders during the primary elections, he later became a supporter of Hillary Clinton during the general election. He even wrote an op-ed titled “The Unbearable Smugness of Being Hillary Clinton Supporters” following her loss to Donald Trump.
