Why are Arsenal wearing white for their 2019/20 season?
Arsenal have announced that they will be wearing white shirts for the 2019/20 season. The club have worn red and white since their inception in 1886, with the exception of a period between 1986 and 1993 when they wore yellow and blue. They also wore a yellow shirt during the 2006/07 season as part of a charity initiative.
The new Arsenal kit is set to be released on Friday, July 12th. The club’s traditional red and white colours will still feature on the sleeves, but it is not yet known whether this will be incorporated into the shorts or socks.
