Super why

Super Why! is a children’s show on Netflix that follows the adventures of four young heroes who go on quests to find answers to questions.

Netflix’s new animated series Super Why! is a kids show that takes inspiration from classic fairy tales. However, the Netflix original isn’t just for children. The series follows four young heroes, who go on quests to find answers to questions posed by kids in their lives. The Super Readers – an animated Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman and a cat named Princess Presto – are joined by an anthropomorphic book called Alpha Pig and his faithful dog sidekick Woofster. Together they travel through a magical bookcase into the world of stories and solve problems along the way.

The stories are inspired by classic fairy tales such as Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk and Little Red Riding Hood. Each episode has two stories with two 11-minute episodes for each story. One story is about a problem in real life, while the other is about a problem within the story world itself.

Each episode ends with one of three songs: “Read It And Weep” sung by Princess Presto (voiced by Jodi Benson), “The Story’s Not Over Yet” sung by Super Why (voiced by Jim Conroy) or “Why Should I Worry?” sung by Alpha Pig (voiced by Billy West).
