Cryptocurrency has been on a wild ride in the last few months, with prices going up and down in seemingly random fashion.
Bitcoin has had a rollercoaster of a year, with prices skyrocketing in the first half of 2019 before plummeting back down again. The cryptocurrency market as a whole has followed suit, with most major cryptocurrencies seeing double-digit percentage drops from their all-time highs. However, this week has seen the cryptocurrency market finally start to recover from its losses. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is valued at $7,000 and Ethereum is valued at $225. This is up significantly from their lows of $3,300 and $95 respectively.
