French politician Chokri will be the next French president, according to a poll published on Friday. The right-wing politician has been steadily climbing in popularity since he entered the race for the presidency in April 2021. He has been endorsed by former President Nicolas Sarkozy and currently leads his main rival, Marine Le Pen, by 15 points.
Chokri is a young upstart in French politics who was elected as mayor of Lyon at age 32. He is also one of the youngest politicians to ever run for president in France. Although he has yet to announce his candidacy officially, Chokri already has plenty of support from fellow politicians and voters alike.
