Casting for the second season of the Netflix series Why Woman Kill is underway.

Netflix’s upcoming series Why Woman Kill is currently casting for its second season. The show, which was created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, takes a look at some of the most infamous female murderers in history. Season one included stories about Lizzie Borden, Hedda Nussbaum, and Aileen Wuornos. Casting is currently underway for new stories to be featured in season two.

The first season of Why Woman Kill focused on three different women who were all convicted of murder. Lizzie Borden became infamous after her father and stepmother were killed with an axe in 1892. She was tried but acquitted of their murders, but many people still believe she was guilty. Hedda Nussbaum was accused of killing her partner Allan Bamberger in 1991 after he attempted to end their relationship by having sex with another woman.

Aileen Wuornos became famous for being one of America’s first female serial killers when she murdered seven men between 1989 and 1990. Her crimes were depicted in the movie Monster starring Charlize Theron as Wuornos.
